Description
The ProtoCOL UV, features a high resolution camera inside a darkroom with built in UV and white light. The darkroom is designed to fit many plate types allowing you to count colonies on small or large plates, while its auto-locking door protects you from accidental UV exposure. If you want to visualise different types of fluorescence, the system also has a filter drawer which means you can add new filters, as and when you need them.
Using ProtoCOL UV you can count fluorescent colonies and instantly save accurate images in a BMP format. Additionally, you can automatically transfer your results to Excel or a LIMS. The data generated is GLP compliant and can be used to produce professional reports which are accepted by accreditation services such as the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).
